Scoop.it

I would like to introduce scoop.it to anyone that is not familiar with it.  I would also like to give you an example of one way to use it that I had not previously considered when I first learned about it.

Scoop.it is a web 2.0 tool that is generally classified as a social bookmarking site.  Specifically, users curate their site by creating topics and then scooping relevant website links to their site.  The curator is also given an opportunity to provide insight about the link that they are publishing in a text format.  He/she can then link all of this information to a website, a blog, or a host of social media platforms.  Users can also like the links and share them via social media.
